About the Group
What is the The 2% Club?
The 2% Club is a supportive community dedicated to adult adoptees, acknowledging the unique experiences and challenges faced by this often overlooked group. The name reflects the approximate percentage of the population who are adopted, highlighting the exclusive nature of this shared experience. Our mission as a group is to provide a safe, understanding, and empowering space for adult adoptees to connect, share their stories, and support one another through the complexities of their adoption journeys.
Who can join?
The 2% Club is open to all adult adoptees, regardless of their adoption type, cultural background, or current relationship with their adoptive or birth families. We welcome individuals who are:
-
Exploring their adoptee identity
-
Seeking connection with others who share similar experiences
-
Looking for support in navigating relationships and personal growth
